Personality Training

There is no such thing as having an objective good personality. Everyone likes the different type of people. The main key is for you to build a personality that you yourself can be proud off and confident in. How to develop personality may sound hard but will always have a positive side to it. How often do we hear this term, from our mentors, our teachers, on the covers of self-help books or on the banners of institutes and learning centers? The abundance of the usage of this term signals towards its importance in today’s life. So let’s get down to the list of things that you should do to know how to develop the personality.
1.    Know Yourself
Before you get into anything you should know where you stand and truly know who you are. Analyzing your own traits, strengths, and weaknesses.  You should know everything about yourself and what all you need to work on as well. Don’t be shy to accept flaws about yourself because nobody is perfect.

2.    Have your opinion
To really know how to develop personality having your own opinion and being able to confidently put your views across to people during convocations and impress them as you will be the one that is well informed and know what you are saying. Be up to date with things that are happening around.

3.    Meet new people
Meeting new people is very important as it opens you up to different personalities altogether. As you expand your horizon and explore yourself in larger groups of people. This will also give you the opportunity to know more about different cultures, lifestyles etc. Putting yourself out there will have a positive effect on your own personality

4.    Be a good listener
It is very important that you learn how to listen to other people. Even if they differ in opinion that is fine but you need to be able to listen to contradicting thoughts and opinions. Maintain direct eye contact this assures the person that is talking to you that you are paying attention to only them and not getting distracted.

5.    Body Language
It might not seem very important but a little gesture can say a lot about you. It can speak louder than words. Body language includes everything, from the way you walk, talk, and sit. Walk in an upright position with shoulders straight. Do not droop. Sit in a relaxed posture and make always eye contact while speaking.

Lastly, just be yourself. It might be easy said than done but until you don’t show people who you really are they will take you as a fake. Each one of us is different but that’s the beauty of being unique. So if someone does ask you what’s the most important thing of how to develop a personality? You know what to say.  Just everything you do, have faith in yourself and put in your hard work. There can be nothing more appealing in your personality than an incredible confidence.

Develop your entrepreneurial skills

Everyone wants to be the best entrepreneur. However, it does take entrepreneur skill development to reach such a level. It does help for you to have specific skills like knowing how to use technology or just be an expert in certain areas of work. Here we look at the entrepreneurship development so that you become a successful entrepreneur.
The key qualities and traits which are mainly needed like creativity, the ability to face hardship and most importantly having great social skills. If you are a person that wants to start your own business then entrepreneur skill development is a must.

Before we get into the entrepreneurship skills development, we should have a look at what entrepreneurship really is. As some people think people that are in this profession are people that are willing to take huge risks. That is true, but to see it at another angle these are the people that end up with a successful business. There is no specific definition that summarizes what entrepreneurship means however, here are the four categories that it falls under:
1. Personal Characteristics
2. Interpersonal Skill
3. Critical and creative thinking skills
4. Practical skills
Having all four will help your entrepreneurship skills development in the right way so that you too will become one of those people that are successful.
Personal Characteristics
This is your personal values and benefits. Look at your mindset so that you become successful. For starters you need to have optimism. This will get you through the hard times you face. Next you should have a clear vision, this is also known as “the big picture” if you have that set then in the future it can inspire other people to follow the same. As said before being a risk-taker is something that you will have to develop. You should know what the right decision is where it is of concern.
Interpersonal Skill
This is for you to build good relationships with your team and other people around. Having good communication skills are a must, other than speaking skills you should be a good listener. The ability yo hear out other opinions and to negotiate in a proper way is beneficial.
Critical and creative thinking skills
As any entrepreneur you need to have creative thinking as a tool to come up with original ideas. Having brilliant problem solving skills to that it will be easy for you to face those problems with no issues what so ever.
Practical Skills
This is needed to produce goods and services effectively to run a successful business. You should be very efficient while planning and organizing. Management skills are very important. Core decision making tools for you to make quick and efficient decisions when required.
Running a business is not that easy but when you have the right mindset and well-armed with information you are sure to be successful in whatever you set out to do. Whatever your choice, make sure that it feels right. Running a business isn’t for everyone but if you know you can then nothing is impossible.

Improve your communication skills

An effective communication skills training will help you not only speak properly around people but will help you

Effective communication is one of the most important life skills we can learn—yet one we don’t usually put a lot of effort into. Whether you want to have better conversations in your social life or get your ideas across better at work, here are some essential tips for learning to communicate more effectively.

It is very important to watch your body language and how to improve communication skills are easy when you know how your body language should be. You can improve your communication skills by telling your partner with your arms open. However, when you have your arms crossed it shows that you are not open to a discussion, say you’re listening but haven’t looked up from your phone yet. Our non-verbal and non-written cues often reveal more than we think they do. Whether it’s how you make eye contact or how you hold yourself during a video interview, don’t forget that you’re constantly communicating even when you’re not saying a word. One strange way to tap into your body for better communication? Think about your toes. Or adopt a power pose if you need to boost your confidence before a big talk. Or learn how to read other people’s body language so you can respond appropriately.

Another thing you should take into consideration during communication skills training is avoiding unnecessary words like Um’s and ah’s. To improve communication skills try to cut them out to be more persuasive and feel or appear more confident. One way is to start keeping track of when you say words like “um” or “like.” You could also try taking your hands out of your pockets or simply relaxing and pausing before you speak. Those silences seem more awkward to you than they do to others, trust us.

Telling a story is very effective. They tend to attract you and since you are telling the story you will not be more persuasive. Use the rules of Pixar. The best way is to keep them on a cliff hanger but that makes them so much more interested.

It is kind of annoying when a person drifts off when you are having a conversation with them. Oh! And the awkward silence that comes in between conversations. It also helps for small talk and to fill in awkward silences. Instead of trying to stir up conversation on mundane topics like the weather, ask the other person questions (e.g., “Got any plans for the summer?” or “What are you reading lately?”) and engage in their answers. It’s more important to be interested than to be interesting.

Finally, going hand-in-hand with most of the points above, the best thing you can do to improve your communication skills is to learn to really listen—to pay attention and let the other person talk without interrupting.

Training to make the best Presentations

Making a presentation is something that not all people are comfortable with. Having the best presentation skills is something that everyone would want to have. Presentation skills training is what is needed when you are presenting to a huge audience. Holding their attention while you present requires you to have good presentation skills training.
When you attend a presentation it is easy for you to quickly lose your attention if the person is not interesting enough. Adding too many details slide after slide it becomes from a bad presentation to something you can’t bear. This is what usually happens. You pay attention for the first ten to fifteen minutes, after sometime you pull out your smartphone and start to check your messages or play a game on it. This is what is called poor presentation skill training.
If you are the speaker you will not want anyone doing that. Having proper presentation skill training will help you become a speaker that everyone will want to listen to. Some things that you should avoid while giving a presentation are:
1.       Not having an outline
2.       Using over forty characters per side
3.       Reading from the slide itself
4.       Being oblivious to the audience
If you have this under cover then you are sure to give a good presentation. Now that you know what to avoid here are some tips to use to increase your presentation skills training.
1.       Put bullet points on your slides. It should consist of main pointers as you talk to the audience and elaborate each point.
2.       Find one killer picture that represents you one point so that there are not only words on the screen but some visuals.
3.       Keep your audience engaged by asking them question (easy questions) this will help you know if they are paying attention to what you have to say.
4.       When you are ending your presentation make sure to summarize properly so that you touch upon all the points you have said in the beginning till the end.
Having these things in your skill pocket will make you excel in making presentations like never before. As a presenter you need to keep in mind that you are not just talking to people that know what your topic is about, but the people that you are talking to are people that need you to explain each point but in lay man’s words. It is better for you to come down to the level of the people’s understanding.
As a speaker, whether you are a professional or amateur you must be there to entertain as well as enlighten so never forget how it feels to be in the audience and bored. Unless meeting planners make sure their presenters are engaging, you’ll find attention drop-off.

Unless your audience is preschoolers, no one wants to be in a room and read to. So become a good presenter, smart and to the point. It’s always best to be the best.

Personal Development for a New You

Are you interested in attending or taking part in personal development courses? There are many different types of personality development courses that you can choose from. The idea of taking such a course is to help build up confidence in certain aspects of your life. It’s about combining your strengths and weaknesses and grooming yourself to be the most efficient and assured version of yourself. It’s about a positive mindset that can handle both triumph and disaster.
Personality development courses help you to regain that emotional control which is integral to your self esteem. Taking such a course can also help you figure out your goal in life. If you haven’t found yourself in a career that fits the saying, "Do what you love and the money will come" then it’s high time you regroup and take a different approach.  Coaching, therapy and other types of self-improvement exercises can help you determine a field that is best suited to your skills and interests.
Yet another area that is embraced by these personal development courses is that of your personal appearance. Courses in shopping for fashionable clothing, how to do your make-up, how to walk and talk all form different aspects of your personality.

Personal development courses can help you introspect and get in touch with yourself.  The course instructor will very often talk about certain experiences that are commonly experienced by everybody, and you may find yourself recalling having gone through similar experiences. In essence, the course instructor identifies and highlights traits that people tend to overlook in themselves. It often takes a third party to point out those strengths and weaknesses. In fact, if the course is conducted in a workshop setting, then you get the additional benefit of meeting and interacting with other likeminded people. They, in turn, can make you think, question, boost your confidence, give you a sense of community of belonging and feeling of being accepted.
Once you have accepted yourself with your strengths and weaknesses then it automatically helps you overcome hurdles and empowers you to achieve greater heights. This is especially helpful in the cut throat corporate world where everybody sees the other as competition. In order to climb the ladder of success you need to develop that drive to never give up and such a course can help build on your thoughts, behavior and emotions so that you deal with any adversity.
In cases where one feels defeated and feels like giving up is when the course instructor will sometimes push the participants to confront their problems head on.  You will end up breaking those barriers in your life, and this can help you progress in life much further than before.
Lastly, personal development courses can help you see things from a different perspective. Here is what I mean. People have the propensity to be pessimistic or to complain. What a course like this can do for you is it can broaden your horizons to understand human behavior better.
Learning how to look the part is as important as playing that part. Nobody is going to take a CEO of a company seriously if he walks in with khakis and chappals. How you dress, how you look matters because impressions count in this field. At the workplace if you dress neat, look active and lively, have a pleasant demeanor, enthusiastic attitude, and then people will want to work with you.  They will look up to you, look to you to solve problems and this in turn will boost your confidence. This could also be the difference between what gets you noticed as opposed to someone else.

If you are looking for such courses then look at ICBI, Image Consulting Business Institute is breaking new ground in India and the world as the biggest brand in Image Consulting and Soft Skills Training space.  A Personal Image consultant will not only give you an overall image transformation, but will even help you build relationships.
Etiquette is something that many people tend to overlook, but a personal image consultant can give you the right etiquette skills that you need for those business social events. This will help immensely as at these gatherings as you will be interacting with clients and you need to look and speak confidently.

A personal image makeover can empower you to walk more confidently, speak in a self assured manner, and dress in a way that makes you feel good about yourself and all this will boost your confidence and self esteem. You can study your own body language, voice modulation, eye contact and other aspects. A confident presenter speaks volumes over someone who is tentative or uncomfortable at the podium.

Once you find yourself comfortable with a group you can then work on your impact by playing with several dynamics, including vocals, visuals, and verbal content. A polished presenter understands the importance of using their voice to engage the audience. You can do it by varying your pitch,  volume and even the pace at which you speak. Moreover, an experienced presenter knows how to use visual aids and construct their remarks in a way that garners maximum audience involvement. You will find these skills show up in formal presentations as well as day to day discussions and meetings. Making that investment in presentation skills training boosts your ability to make an impact in the boardroom, the client meeting, and in everyday discussions.
